4K's Observations from November 2008

We are going to be taking photos of a beautiful tree on the west side of our school on the front lawn for this collaborative Internet project.

On Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 2:10 Bennett and Andrew went outside to take our photo and notice what was going on outside! 

Our weather report for the afternoon of November 11, 2008:

• it was gloomy and overcast outside

• it was windy outside

• the temperature was 40 degrees F, with a windchill of 32 degrees F

We noticed that:

• we could see and hear the leaves blowing
• people were mowing their lawns
• the leaves are showing their true colors
• we can see and hear the US flag blowing on the roof
• we didn't see any animals or birds
• most trees don't have any more leaves
• people are wearing winter coats, hats, and mittens
• there is an squirrel's nest in the tree in front of our school
