4K's Observations from May 2009

We are going to be taking photos of a beautiful tree on the west side of our school on the front lawn for this collaborative Internet project.

On Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 2:10 Annie and Sam went outside to take our photo and notice what was going on outside! 

Our weather report for the afternoon of May 12, 2009:

•  it was sunny and warm

•  it was breezy

• there were clear skies with just a few clouds in the sky

• the temperature was 61 degrees F

• the humidity was 35%

• visibility was 10 miles

We noticed that:

• it was breezy enough that the trees were swaying and the flag was waving
• the flag was waving to the north so the wind was coming from the south
• there were lots of spring flowers like tulips, daffodils, and irises
• there were buds on the trees and bushes
• a robin was sitting in the tree next to the steps
• a jet was flying east and leaving a white vapor trail
• the weather was beautiful today!
