4K's Observations from December 2008

On Thursday, December 9, 2008 at 2:10 PM we went outside to take our photo and notice what was going on outside!

Our weather report for the afternoon of September 10, 2008:

• it was very snowy
• it was very cold
• it was windy
• it was cloudy
• the temperature was 29 degrees F with a windchill

We noticed that:

• the snow was blowing around in circles
• there were no birds or animals outside
• the snowflakes are very big
• it was raining early - but it changed over to snow
• the snow felt soft and cold against our faces
• we could hear snowblowers and plows outside
• the cars are driving slowly
• kids are having fun playing outside, especially making snow forts!
