4K's Observations from April 2009

We are going to be taking photos of a beautiful tree on the west side of our school on the front lawn for this collaborative Internet project.

On Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 2:10 Jacob and Curtis went outside to take our photo and notice what was going on outside! 

Our weather report for the afternoon of April 7, 2009:

•  it was very windy

•  it was cold

• there were clear skies with no clouds in the sky

• the temperature was 48 degrees F

• the wind chill was 44 degrees F

We noticed that:

• we don't see any animals or birds outside
• the trees are still bare so we can't see buds or leaves yet
• some grass is starting to turn green
• there is no snow left on the ground
• we can hear the wind howling
• we can see the leaves blowing on the ground and the tree branches moving
• we still need to wear jackets and hats and gloves!
